Most of the pieces you’ll find are made from reclaimed wood. This allows the “flaws” in the wood to become part of the beauty of the finished product while keeping the wood out of the landfills and incinerators.
Many times the individual art pieces are inspired by the wood itself. Seeing a unique feature and finding a way to highlight it is part of the fun and joy of creating.
